My wood deck hasn’t weathered well. The nails are rusty and keep lifting up. What keeps a Brock Deck plank secure?

Our patented Clip-Strip® eliminates your problem. These ingenious metal strips fasten the vinyl plank onto the your deck or dock’s wood, aluminum or steel substructure. With the hidden Clip-Strip system, there is nothing for you to worry about.

The Clip-Strip is an exceptionally strong connector. Its unique design allows for the natural expansion and contraction characteristics of vinyl. Another advantage of our vinyl plank system is the elimination of the "vinyl on vinyl" squeaking often found with two-piece vinyl deck products.

Installation

How is a Triple Crown Fence put together?

A wood fence or railing is nailed, stapled or screwed together. These frequently rust and stain the wood and then finally fall out! For vinyl fencing and railing, rails are either inserted into posts in precut holes or held together with brackets. Post & Rail fence styles use longer rails that are interwoven through the posts for the additional strength.

To end all the fastener problems, we invented the strongest hidden fastener system in the industry – Rail Locks. Used for both fence and railing, the patented Rail Locks are completely hidden inside the post, never rust and won’t fall out.

The Rail Locks are inserted into two holes in the rail leaving two exceptionally strong ends protruding.

The V shape of the Rail Lock allows it to flex when inserting the rail into the post. Once the rail is in place, the Rail Lock expands and the rails are secured.

Competitive products rely on unattractive exterior brackets or notches in the rails. Exterior brackets don’t provide the strength and can be kicked and broken (this is especially true in Post & Rail applications). Notching into the rail wall compromises its strength. If the vinyl is of inferior quality and brittle the notches can be broken and the fence will fail.

Safety

My wood dock is slippery when wet. Will Brock Dock be Safer?

Definitely, yes. Both Brock Dock and Brock Deck have an embossed surface that is highly rated slip-resistant. Testing has proved that both perform well in wet and dry conditions.

My boys like to play barefoot on our dock. Do they have to put their shoes on with Brock Dock?

Overall fence height, picket spacing, rail heights and gate requirements vary from community to community. So you’ll need to refer to local pool codes before making your selection. As an added benefit, Royal Outdoor Products Vinyl won’t corrode, rust or become damaged by pool chlorine.

Is Royal Outdoor Products Vinyl safe? I’d like to reduce my family’s exposure to chemicals.

If I have a fire, will my Triple Crown Fence and Brock Deck Systems burn and release toxic fumes?

Royal Outdoor Products Vinyl is flame-resistant and self-extinguishing. Chlorine in vinyl helps stop it from burning. Extensive testing shows that vinyl is not an unusual fire hazard. Emissions when burned are similar to many common natural and synthetic materials and aren’t reported excessive in real fire conditions. If the flame is continuous and hot enough, the vinyl will “melt”.

Warranty

If vinyl fence and deck product qualities vary, how come almost every manufacturer has a lifetime warranty?

A warranty is just an empty sales promise if it doesn’t have the product quality and corporate resources to stand behind it. Its strength is derived from the company’s history, product quality and financial stability. Even the “best” lifetime warranty cannot eliminate poorly handled claims or protect you if a company goes out of business.
